The Five Boroughs Alliance (FBA) The Five Boroughs Alliance (FBA) is a coalition set up by the London Boroughs in 2006 to develop long-term, effective solutions for dealing with complex young people and those involved in serious violence, including gang-related issues. The Alliance brings together the expertise of the Metropolitan Police Service, Councils, the Home Office, the Probation Service, local Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships and the Government Office for London to deliver schemes/plan of action that they cannot deliver alone. Effective communication between the various agencies, i.e. RAP Mentors the police and communities is crucial and forms one of the key five strands of the partnership |
